Jonathan LHEUREUX alias Juanito: The fabulous story of an exceptional dancer

Jonathan Lheureux , his stage name Juanito , is Dunkirk hip-hop dancer and choreographer . At 33 he has just been crowned vice-world champion of hip-hop dance at San Diego to the United States : the reward of a long journey that began in his hometown of Grande-Synthe (North).

After several years of creation in the North of France, Juanito made a stopover at Nice to become an interpreter at the Nice opera house in the room No No Nanette . His artistic singularity and his musicality allowed him to stand out in the world of International Battle and in the space of 18 years he is one of the international hip-hop dance references . In 2012 he obtained the title of champion of France and represents France at Las Vegas in the United States during “International Hip-Hop” . At the end of 2019, he won the title of vice-world champion in the United States in the most prestigious of international competitions: “ The Freestyle Session World Finals “. A title that comes in addition to the fifteen distinctions which are enthroned at his place.

Juste Debout Canceled Difficult time @bruceykanji Since 2004 I grew up with Juste Debout, and in particular with JD Lille in 2007, 2009 and JD Bercy in 2013,2017 and … 2020 Have the chance to access a 3rd once at the legendary Bercy stage was an honor that does not exist in any other battle. I would have liked to show all our work, all these hours of rehearsals, sweats, injuries etc … with @ redwan.abks and represent the North once again! It would have been the 3 rd but unfortunately things meant that the event had to be canceled. Today you made the decision to stop the Juste Debout. It is a difficult decision but I will never forget all the experiences and the meetings that I was able to have thanks to this event. Nothing happens by chance but in any case I would like to thank you and the whole JD team @roseotentick @justedebout_officiel for these years of magic and hope that you have put in the hearts of dancers around the world. Today, a large community follows his dance works on social networks and thanks to this its field of action widens since, interested in the contemporary art , he confronts his aesthetic as a dancer with the contemporary creations of many artists.
